ASTM A213 T22 is a seamless alloy steel pipe specification designed for high-temperature service. It has a chemical composition of approximately 0.05–0.15% Carbon, 0.30–0.60% Manganese, 2.25% Chromium, and 1% Molybdenum. It meets ASTM A213/A213M standards for seamless ferritic and austenitic alloy steel boiler, superheater, and heat-exchanger tubes.

The common equivalents of ASTM A213 T22 include ASME SA213 T22, EN 10216-2 2.25Cr-1Mo, and DIN 17175 16Mo3. These standards have similar chemical composition and mechanical properties.

ASTM A213 refers to a standard specification for seamless ferritic and austenitic alloy steel boiler, superheater, and heat-exchanger tubes used in high-temperature applications. T22 is one grade under this specification.

T11 contains 1% Chromium and 0.5% Molybdenum, while T22 contains 2.25% Chromium and 1% Molybdenum. T22 offers better high-temperature strength and corrosion resistance than T11, making it suitable for more demanding industrial applications.
