Introduction to Titanium GR2 Fasteners

Titanium Grade 2 (Ti GR2) fasteners are lightweight yet durable, with a tensile strength sufficient for high-performance industrial applications, and they maintain their integrity at elevated temperatures up to approximately 400°C (750°F). Ti GR2 fasteners material is easily machinable with proper precautions, and it can be forged, hot-rolled, cold-rolled, stamped, bent, or drawn, allowing flexibility in manufacturing. Annealing between 1103°F and 1400°F followed by air cooling is performed to relieve stress and enhance ductility. Compared to Ti Grade 5, Ti GR2 fasteners are more cost-effective while still delivering excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical performance. They are suitable for environments where exposure to chlorine, saltwater, or other corrosive media is significant. Ti GR2 fasteners provide reliable performance, durability, and versatility, ensuring secure and long-lasting connections in critical applications.
