Titanium Grade 5 Circles & Discs

Titanium Grade 5 Circular Blanks are circular blanks of Titanium alloy with the grade 5 designation Ti-6Al-4V used where high strength and dimension stability is essential. It is manufactured by the process of cutting of ASTM B265 Grade 5 plate into the desired diameter or forging of ASTM B381, after which it undergoes machining if needed. As opposed to commercially pure titanium circles, it contains about 6 percent of aluminum and 4 percent of vanadium that results in the minimum tensile strength of about 895 MPa and yield strength of about 825 MPa. Its heat-treated alpha-beta microstructure offers greater strength-to-weight ratio as compared to other grades. Sachin Steel Centre is a reliable Titanium Grade 5 Circles & Discs Manufacturer and Supplier in India, offering precision-cut and forged products in customized dimensions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Titanium Grade 5 Circles & Discs are circular components made from Ti-6Al-4V alloy, valued for their high strength, low weight, and corrosion resistance.

Yes. They provide excellent resistance to seawater, chlorides, moisture, and many corrosive environments.

Grade 5 offers roughly 2.5x the yield strength of Grade 2, making it the choice for structural, aerospace and high-load applications rather than general corrosion-resistant blanks.

Most Grade 5 discs are forged rather than plate-cut, since forging improves grain structure and machinability for demanding downstream parts.

AMS 4928 bar/forging stock certification with EN 10204 3.1 material test reports and, where required, NADCAP-certified heat treatment.
