Sachin Steel Product Banner_21 Aug_005

Titanium Fasteners are threaded and fastening parts made of commercially pure titanium or titanium alloy that are used for assemblies operating in corrosive environments and weight sensitive applications. They have many different grades but one of the most common one is grade 5. These Grade 5 Ti fasteners can deliver a minimum of about 895 MP, providing high strength and lower weight of parts. They are utilized in marine equipment, chemical processing, aerospace structures, piping systems and in special fabrication. Sachin Steel Centre is a manufacturer of titanium bolts, nuts, screws, washers and threaded components in particular size and condition. Titanium Grade 2 Fasteners and other Titanium products which come in different ranges and sizes according to the industry’s requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions

Titanium Fasteners are bolts, nuts, screws, washers, and other threaded components made from commercially pure titanium or titanium alloys. They are valued for their low weight, strength, and corrosion resistance.

They are used in aerospace, marine, chemical processing, automotive, medical, oil and gas, and power-generation applications where low weight and corrosion resistance are required.

Titanium screws are generally more expensive than steel screws and can be more difficult to machine. They may also gall during installation if proper lubrication is not used.

Titanium bolts offer an excellent strength-to-weight ratio, but they are not the strongest bolts in every application. High-strength alloy steel can provide higher absolute tensile strength.

The main disadvantages are higher cost, difficult machining, and a tendency to gall or seize during tightening. Titanium also has lower stiffness than steel.

Yes. Titanium bolts are available in commercially pure grades and alloys such as Grade 2 and Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V), in various sizes, head styles, and thread configurations.
