Titanium Grade 1 is commercially pure titanium which offers excellent corrosion resistance, high ductility and better formability. It is made by melting and refining titanium sponge, then rolling, forging or other forming operations to form different shapes of product. The grade can be provided as Titanium Grade 1 products as well as bars and other components based on the necessary specifications. Low interstitial elements, especially oxygen and iron, result in good weldability and resistance to chemical and seawater environments. Due to these properties, Grade 1 can be used for chemical processing, marine, medical and industrial applications.
