Titanium Grade 1 Rod Manufacturer and Supplier in India

HOMETitanium Products Titanium Grade 5 Flanges
Titanium Grade 1 Rod is a commercially pure grade of titanium which is highly ductile, cold formable, and corrosion-resistant in nature. It has been classified as UNS R50250 and Werkstoff 3.7025 and has minimum tensile strength of 240 MPa and yield strength of 170 MPa. This makes the grade 1 titanium ideal for complicated forming and fabricating operations. The grade 1 contains a maximum of 0.20% iron and 0.18% oxygen. According to ASTM B348 / ASME SB348, the titanium Grade 1 Rod develops a stable oxide layer on exposure to oxygen. Sachin Steel Centre is a trusted Titanium Grade 1 Rod and other titanium grade 1 materials Manufacturer and Supplier in India, supplying precision-manufactured rods with consistent dimensional and material quality.

Frequently Asked Questions

Titanium Grade 1 Rod is a commercially pure, unalloyed titanium product known for its excellent ductility, cold formability, and corrosion resistance. It is designated UNS R50250.
It offers excellent corrosion resistance, high ductility, good cold formability, and a minimum tensile strength of 240 MPa.
Yes. It provides excellent resistance to seawater, chlorides, oxidizing environments, and many corrosive chemicals.
Chemical-processing equipment, marine hardware and cold-formed parts where maximum ductility and corrosion resistance are needed more than high strength.
Grade 1 has slightly lower oxygen and iron content, giving it greater ductility but lower strength than Grade 2 (yield ~25-45 ksi vs ~40-55 ksi).
Typically 6 mm to 200 mm diameter in mill, turned, or polished finish, supplied as bar stock or custom-cut lengths.
Grade 1 has lower strength but higher ductility and formability, while Grade 2 provides higher strength with good corrosion resistance.
Yes. Its strong resistance to seawater and chloride corrosion makes it suitable for selected marine components and equipment.
Yes. Titanium Grade 1 Rod has good weldability and can be welded using suitable processes such as TIG/GTAW with proper shielding.
