Titanium Grade 2 Wire
Pure titanium wire known as Titanium Grade 2 wire is the most successful wire all over the world. It has 99.2 percent purity and consists mainly of titanium without requiring any additions of vanadium or aluminum to achieve the required strength. As a result, the wire can be very lightweight, fairly strong and exceptionally corrosion-resistant in several types of seawater and chemical media. The production of that wire meets ASTM specifications B863 and ASME B863 and is known as UNS R50400. Wire can be traced back to the wire production standards. It is easily formed compared to alloy wires but, at the same time, retains its form upon being bent and welded several times. Thanks to these properties it became usable in various spheres of human activity, beginning from medicine and ending with chemical production processes. Sachin Steel Centre produces and distributes wires of Titanium Grade 2, 5, 7 and 9 and each wire is tested before being sent to the customer.
