Beryllium Copper C17200 Plate is a precipitation-hardenable copper alloy with a high strength, good thermal conductivity and stable dimensional properties. It is identified by designations such as UNS C17200, CDA 172, Alloy 25, CuBe2, and DIN 2.1247. It can be supplied solution annealed Condition A (TB00) to offer much higher ductility of the material to facilitate forming and machining before final condition or hardness. When the process of controlled age hardening has been used, the resulting precipitates of beryllide are in extremely fine form, which greatly improves mechanical properties. The C17200 has a tensile strength of approximately 1550 MPa and hardness of HRC 36-45 (depending on the temper and heat treatment). C17200 BeCu plate is suitable for high performance electrical, aerospace, tooling and industrial parts. Sachin Steel Centre is a manufacturer and supplier of Beryllium Copper C17200 Plate in India supplied to ASTM B194 with the thickness range of 4.8 mm to 150 mm and cut as per your size with EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate.

Frequently Asked Questions

Beryllium Copper C17200 Plate is a high-strength, age-hardenable copper alloy plate offering good strength, conductivity, and wear resistance.

UNS C17200 is also known as Alloy 25, CDA 172, CuBe2, and DIN 2.1247.

C17200 plate is produced to ASTM B194 and ASME SB194, with general requirements and tolerances under ASTM B248.

In the TH04 temper C17200 reaches 1310 to 1550 MPa tensile strength, above many carbon steels. Steel strength varies widely by grade, so compare against the specific steel and temper you use.

Yes, C17200 can be precipitation hardened through solution treatment and aging to increase its strength and hardness.

Common C17200 tempers include solution annealed, cold worked, and age-hardened conditions such as TB00, TD04, TF00, and TH04.

Sachin Steel Centre supplies C17200 plate from 4.8 mm to 150 mm and cuts it to your length and width. For square blanks, see our Square Plate page.

Multiply length in metres by width in metres by thickness in mm by 8.25. A plate 1 m by 1 m and 10 mm thick weighs about 82.5 kg.
